Author Lewis Hyde lectured at Brown University on April 14, 2009. The subject of his lecture, Creativity and the Collective Self, led to the development of a collectively designed poster to promote the event. Ten artists and designers submitted black and white drawings and patterns for perforated bookmarks that could be torn off the poster.
