Our final project was a multi-media, interactive installation for the graduate exhibition. The most beautiful memories from our Gift Cycle journey were merged in a fantastical landscape. Red rocks stand alongside a river, which runs by groves of aspen and pine trees. Mountains and cities are visible in the distance. The landscape was laser-cut and painted bright colors from our thesis design identity. One wall of the installation was magnetic; the words "Wyoming Doesn’t Disappoint" spelled in magnetic hand-drawn letters. Diamond shapes borrowed from our thesis identity system were also magnetized. We arranged them to spell "1+1=3," but invited viewers to rearrange them. Many thanks to Bud Saggal from Precision Laser for his beautiful work.
